**** Announcement (10th February 2009) ****
Grace Publishers are sorry to announce the death of Thomas Bartram, the founder and long-time editor of Grace Magazine. We are sad, but grateful to have known such a fine English gentleman who shared his great knowledge on all matters relating to health so freely, both in his writings and on a personal level.
The first issue of "Grace" was in the spring of 1960, so "Thomas", as he was known to readers, was editor for 49 years. We are happy to say that the magazine will continue and our office will remain at Mulberry Court in Christchurch, England. All our books including Tom Bartram's "Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine" and "Nature's Plan for your Health" will continue to be available from there.
Through his writings Thomas Bartram probably touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. The positive nature of "Grace" magazine has brought encouragement and comfort to people seeking an alternative to the commercial magazines on the market today. "To help us live" stands on the inside cover of each issue and that is still true in the widest sense.
Thomas Bartram was a man who practised what he preached, living to the magnificent age of 96, active and working until a few months before his death. He was an example to us all of how life can be lived - to the full and in good health. We have learned so much from him, and his work will live on in his writings.
